This month the Galaxy Radio crew is excited to be joined by Christoph Caominh – aka Caltrop – a German transplant originally from Munich, he has made a name for himself in the Bay Area’s electronic underground for his DJ Sets, which combine diverse sounds ranging from Detroit Techno, Chicago Acid, Disco, and long-forgotten Italo and Synthpop.

Ken Vulsion (Honey Soundsystem)
Ken Vulsion’s first residency in 1983 was at an Italian resaurant / disco called Myhalyk’s in Elmira NY. Wednesday was BONEHUNTER night, and he was paid with a pile of wrinkled dollar bills and free chicken wings. Since then he has lived and played in New York, San Francisco, Fire Island, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Portland, Palm Springs, London, Black Rock, Healdsburg, and a secret beach town called Bolinas. Ken is a founding member of San Francisco’s Hard Energy / Heavy Disco collective – Honey Soundsystem.
